Doctor Quinn as Doctor Who?

So, there is a lot of speculation about who the next Doctor will be. One of the biggest questions is, will the 12th Doctor be a woman?

If they were to choose a woman to be the next Doctor, why not cast a woman who has experience playing a doctor? Why not cast Jane Seymour? She knows what it's like to travel to a place totally foreign to her. She knows how to solve other people's problems (I'm guessing on that one, because I never really watched the show). And she's British, which is a given for the new Doctor.

So, you think it could happen? Yea, neither do I.
